Managing challenger brands in key retail markets.

Our client operates as an SME in the UK consumer markets with a range of products that meet multiple consumer needs, from personal care and beauty products through to gadgets and gifting.  Their breath of range is created from fast paced sourcing and planning has created strong relationships within a number of the UK retailers from Top 4 to discounter ranges. 

To continue the above trend growth, the Managing Director is seeking to appoint a commercial manager that will develop new business and manage existing customers.

Commonly these are “hunters" or “framers”.  Here the MD will expect you to complete both parts of the cycle equally well in a highly autonomous environment.

You will have a nose for making business happen and developing growth in consumer markets.

Most importantly – there is no space to hide. No cosy corners. No Big teams to be part of. No working groups.

You will enjoy operating as a line wolf as much as well as coming into the den to share ideas.

Your success will be rewarded with a direct percentage of all sales created.  So it is in your hands if you want it.
