The Business
Our client, operates as an autonomous division of a large global group with diversified operations across a range of sectors. The team are operating in FMCG food and drink and have developed a brand new concept that will be launching into the UK food market in 2021.
The project is backed with a £multi million investment that will support development of, production, marketing and sales capabilities to enable effective delivery of the product into the Foodservice and Out of Home market.
The Role
This is a Greenfield role. Currently there is no direct existing customer base so you MUST be well organised and methodical in your approach to new business development in the out of home restaurant, hotel and food service markets whilst understanding how to grow B2B customers at the same.
Target customers could include both restaurants and hotels along with direct food manufacturing players within the niche category The business operates in a fast paced environment where internal stakeholders are as important as external customers. As such you will have responsibility being the first appointment in this area of the business and delivering key growth through creation of commercial solutions using JBP and promotional planning that incorporates category managed commercial plans. Integral to this will be engagement with NPD and Technical teams to ensure the commercial objectives are maximized
The Person
Ready to make your second or third career move within a commercial environment, you will have experience of managing accounts in your career so far. This will be a logical step for you to develop you career through training that will enable you to move upwards in your career through the groups training program. To be successful, you will have a history of pushing hard within your customers to win and be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate and fight for market share. Reward for this will see you promoted in either the UK business or elsewhere in the group
