Marketing Administrator

Purpose of the Role:      

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Administrator will be responsible for supporting all administrative tasks and office duties for the Marketing department.


Context of Job and Key Relationships: 

To work across the Marketing department with all members of the team, as well as other relevant departments.


 Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 Marketing team support

  • Coordinate the department and team movements and bookings, including travel, accommodation, meeting arrangements (with support from EA to Managing Director), keeping team movements calendar up-to-date as well as coordinate the diary of Head of Marketing
  • Support preparations for international and/or local meetings and annual conferences, as well as manage and co-ordinate team engagement sessions and social events
  • Assist in the coordination of ad-hoc departmental requests including general administration, petty cash, minute taking and new starter set ups
  • Manage the merchandise, including replenishment of stocks, invoicing and overhauls 


Consumer enquiries & website

  • Support the consumer enquiries and business correspondence; screening and responding to phone calls, enquiries and requests, including processing in the consumer enquiry system
  • Provide cover for Corporate Communications Assistant on Fridays, during holidays and periods of absences and support on communications / corporate related activities where necessary
  • Website management – ongoing update of brand and product related content 

Marketing Budget Management

  • Coordinate & support the team in budget management through creation and management of purchase requisitions, ongoing budget and invoice management and accurate month end closing of spend by liaising with Marketing team and Finance
  • Coordinate and manage media planning budget sign-off within agreed deadlines



  • Cover for EA to Managing Director and PA to Head of Sales during holidays and periods of absences
  • Carry out any other tasks commensurate with this post  


Qualifications / Experience:

  • Excellent clerical and administrative experience
  • Ability to work both autonomously as well as a part of a team
  • Be organised and structured
  • Have a good understanding of the fundamentals of business in an FMCG environment.
  • Good skills in MS Office 
  • Experience on website management would be beneficial
  • Be passionate about supporting Marketing team and continually improving ways of working
