The Business 

This is a small business operating in a competitive category, where it is currently punching way above its weight. 

It is made possible through the quality of product, innovation and focus to only recruit the best in the market.  These attributes have enabled this unique team to grow their retailer business by over 25% in the last year with forecast growth for  “more of the same”.

There are brands in the offering, but also retailer branded solutions that make them uniquely attractive in the UK Grocery market.

To continue growth they require a market maker for the retail, convenience and discounter channels.

The Role 

It is door opening for new business.  Wining hearts and Minds.  Taking share of shelf space and recharging the category.

The business operates in a fast paced environment where retailer brand dominates over branded options.  As such you will have responsibility for delivering key growth through creation of commercial solutions through JBP and promotional planning that incorporates category managed commercial plans.  Integral to this will be engagement with NPD and Technical teams to ensure the commercial objectives are maximized. 

The Person

Ready to make your third or fourth career move within a commercial environment, you will have experience of retailer and Symbol groups along with  Booker, Nisa and discounters in your career so far. This will be a logical step for you to develop and move upwards in your career through the groups training program.  To be successful, you will have a history of pushing hard within your customers to win and be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate and fight for market share.  Reward for this will see you promoted in either the UK business or elsewhere in the group.
