Paul Nyman Consultancy are currently working with a major branded player who are based in the South-East to recruit a Head of E-Commerce to drive their digital trading.

The Role

Are you a digital trading guru looking for an opportunity to shape and develop the online transaction strategy in a major branded business? This role will require a balanced blend of back-end technical expertise, front-end digital marketing experience and the ability to take the helm as our clients E-commerce lead. As the fulcrum of all online trading you will work closely with the Commercial, Category and Insights teams on driving sales on major retailers dotcom stores, in addition you will responsible with heading up the company’s direct B2B transaction website.

The Person

You will have been there, done that and got the t-shirt when it comes to digital trading and have a depth of experience working on/with major transactional websites. On the technical side you will have an understanding of SEO, PPC, HTML, Metatags etc, from a marketing perspective you will be fluent with the latest trends in digital marketing including social media. The role itself will involve interaction with customers and as such the ability to confidently present and where necessary push back (both internally and externally) is also a key facet of the role.
