The Business

We are currently supporting the recruitment of a Digital and Trade Marketing Executive for the UK part of a global technology group with around 50,000 employees across some 60 countries. The business operates across numerous areas as a global technology group and development partner to their customers. They have a strong reputation for setting standards in technology, innovation and quality. Working closely with colleagues from various industries, with customers, partners, and the scientific community, they develop leading-edge technology products, solutions and services. 

The Role

  • Support in the development of the Digital Marketing plan for the UK, across all digital areas including ECRM, Social and all online advertising and provide further reporting when requested.
  • Support the management of activities planned by our external agencies.
  • Amazon: Manage content on Amazon, support Vine activity, develop an annual AMS plan within budget, report on and manage AMS activity to maximise sales
  • Work closely with our webshop provider to ensure all content is correct and up to date and provide monthly sales and promotion analysis and recommendations for future activity.
  • Manage the Shipper process and implement strong, cost effective designs for the UK Trade
  • Update and maintain Account data (weekly) and Distribution (bi annual) databases
  • Be the first point of contact for retailers regarding digital marketing (i.e. images, content, new line forms etc) and execute quarterly checks to ensure all content is correct, including Brandbank updates
  • Create marketing content when support is necessary i.e. banner ads, catalogue page design, PR content, adapting magazine artwork with a full understanding and implementation of brand and asset guidelines
  • Manage UK content from media database / international sources and update UK content folders as and when new information becomes available, editing images so they are suitable for UK trade.
  • Google analytics – update analytics information monthly, advising Marketing on learning derived from the analysis

The Person

  • Topic related university degree standard education covering digital marketing, communication or media management
  • >2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Preferable experience with either FMCG company or internet agency
  • Google Analytics
  • Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Strong interest in digital media, technical trends and innovative communication concepts
  • Design / Photoshop skills
  • Commercial Awareness
