We are currently supporting one of the leading market research providers in the world in their search for an Indusrty Analyst. It is a fast paced and diverse role that also offers the opportunity for international travel (2-3 trips per month) to destinations as close as Paris or as far away as Singapore.

 The Business

For over 5o years they have been helping businesses track industry trends and understand their customers in order to get the right products in the right places for the right people at the right prices. 

Job purpose

  • To develop a strong market expertise of your industry, understanding market dynamics, movers and shakers, key trends and insights.
  • Be accountable for a number of existing clients within your industry and delivering a revenue target for these clients.
  • Be accountable for developing a number of new clients within your industry and delivering a revenue target for these clients.
  • Thanks to your keen understanding of your clients’ organization/strategies you will use this knowledge to deliver outstanding value to clients through service and the businesses product suite.
  • You will develop and broaden network of client contacts across different functions in order to engage at different levels and maximise opportunity to drive revenue
  • Working with the insights advisor to ensure insights are regularly delivered to clients, you are responsible for producing category insight by building on what the insights analyst deliver.
  • Utilising the product suite daily/weekly, so you are an expert in the data.
  • Drive the value of the product suite with your clients, ensuring clients are getting insight from the products.
  • Provide training to clients on products they have subscribed to along with answering any queries/questions on products.
  • Receiving and collating feedback to communicate to the Product Team to ensure developments to products can be made.
  • Attend industry conferences throughout the year to meet with existing clients and to develop new client relationships within your industry.
  • Attend face to face meetings with clients accross the globe to help develop relationships and demonstrate the value of the product suite.


Person specification

  • You have strong analytical skills to digest diverse data sets from their product suite and generate impactful and engaging analyses and insights. 
  • A desire to deeply understand consumer behavior and purchasing journey, marketing, advertisement behaviour
  • You are client focused with a strong commercial appetite to develop the business with your clients and contribute to businesses revenue growth.
  • With strong communication and organisational skills, you enjoy working in a team and you have the capacity to use your initiative for proposing new ideas.
  • You are enthusiastic, creative and an innovative person with a real passion & knowledge for the industry which are aligned to.
  • You have a desire to make a difference, you like challenge and are as energized with delivering insights as securing new clients
  • You focus with the Industry lead on impeccable follow up on revenue opportunities and acquiring new clients within the industry you are accountable.
  • You have a strong attention to detail in order to accurately and regularly update internal systems to track revenue and client project timelines / phasing
  • You have a passion for networking and using business social media platforms to generate new business and create NPD outward communication across the industry


As international travel is a requirement of the role a valid passport is essential.
