Leading supplier of fresh plant based produce seeks full time permanent Classic Category specialist.
With the economic climate & the expected increase in scratch cooking this on trend sector is on the increase.
The client has a proud tradition of growing, procuring, packing & selling the finest of own label & branded fresh produce.

With a globally sourcing network to ensure that, no matter what the season they can supply the freshest, tastiest, healthiest, most exciting products to the market.
This classic Category role requires a sharp individual with a keen eye for detail to forge & maintain excellent customer relationships through proactive communication. Efficient & effective management of all relevant projects & promotions.
- Be the primary point of contact for a major retailer Buying department.
- Track performance, build & drive the category agendas to develop long term sustainable business.
- Drive profit improvement initiatives both internally & externally.
- Take a collaborative & consumer focused approach.
- Assist Senior Commercial Manager with P&L budget preparation & delivery.
- Identify opportunities for promotions & other activities playing a pivotal role in their delivery.
- Identify NPD, working with the technical team play a key role in implementation.
- Be aware of current social, environmental & ethical trends in order to support & work with the retailers.
Great Location on the South coast, perfect opportunity to get you out of the City!
Hybrid role with 3 days a week at the office on the South Coast.
Salary – Up to £35k (Dependent on experience)
